The Spanish Inquisition’s systems of “blood purity” set in motion centuries of racial oppression, colonial hierarchies, and systemic violence whose legacies persist today. This innovative research project explores a psychedelic-assisted therapy framework designed to help individuals and communities confront, release, and transform inherited trauma rooted in historical oppression.

Three phase healing process

Through a structured three-phase program preparation, guided psychedelic journey, and integration. Participants engage with historical truths, ancestral memory, and somatic release to foster psychological healing, empathy, and social accountability. The intervention integrates trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and collective ritual to prevent spiritual bypass and promote sustained transformation.

Early evidence from similar cross-cultural psychedelic work shows the potential for healing intergenerational trauma, enhancing empathy, and supporting reconciliation. Funding this project will enable rigorous research into scalable, ethically grounded approaches to breaking cycles of inherited oppression, creating a model for personal, communal, and societal healing.
